About us

After years working in recruitment and helping others find their dream job, I was made redundant during the COVID-19 pandemic. Keeping busy during lockdown, and being a keen green-finger, I started to grow my houseplant collection but struggled to find stylish yet functional plant pots. There was always a compromise.

With time on my hands, I decided to make my own pots. Inspired by the places of beauty I had once visited, and could only dream of during lockdown, I designed a collection of homewares invoking the whimsical euphoria of these natural wonders.

Since then, Ruut Home has gone from strength to strength, from nationwide press coverage, multiple retailers and finally moving into a dedicated studio space in East London.
